Where are you located?
Pop’s Handyman Service, LLC is located in the Lake Mary / Sanford area of Seminole County, Florida.
I have a small home repair, would you be interested?
No job is too small for Pop's! If you want someone who will return your phone call, show up at the scheduled time, understand your needs and do a top quality job with a price you can afford Pop’s does that and much more.
How do I schedule an
appointment with you?
I offer on-time appointments and I try to schedule based on your need. You can call or text me at 407-341-0732 or use our CONTACT FORM.
Okay, I’m all in, but what are your charges?
I charge a one hour minimum plus materials. First hour is $99, all remaining work hours are charged at $75/Hour. Call me 407-341-0732 for more information.
Emergency calls after 5:00PM are charged at $99/Hour.
Note that my rate also includes any time spent gathering supplies and materials for your project.
Is there any warranty?
From the date of project completion all workmanship for repairs is warranted for a 30-day period. Manufacturer warranties for materials apply to all supplied resources as applicable.
How do I pay you?
I try to make the payment portion (relatively) painless – I accept payment by cash, check, or major credit card.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! I proudly offer a 10% discount to the final labor rate for seniors, 65 or older.
Where did you get the name Pops?
Pops is a nickname given to me many years ago by my youngest son - he was trying to be ornery, but I think it’s a fun name and I use it as my life’s stunt double.
In my home I constantly hear Just Ask Pop to do all those house-hold tasks; so the phase actually works well for the business too!

Yes, I am appropriately licensed and insured for my trade.

Home repair is not always about the size of the contractor - it is about integrity, reliability, creativity and listening to the needs of the customer. It is about showing up on time and getting the job done right. That’s what I do.

Can you match the color
of the existing paint (or stain)
in my home?
I cannot guarantee that I can match paint/stain color or finish. Color on the wall ages and paint pigments evaporate over time causing colors to vary from the original color. Exactly matching certain finishes, colors, and surfaces is, well, impossible really.
Are there any extra charges?
I do not possess every tool (gosh I wish), but on certain projects additional tools may be required. You will be informed of any rental tools I require prior to work being scheduled for your project. I charge a flat rental fee of $75/day or $50/half-day.
A few random facts about me
I was born and raised in a small Nebraska farm town. I spent my summer breaks baling hay and cleaning horse stalls - my Mom called it character building.
At age eleven I bought my first power tools, an electric drill and a 10" table saw and started making projects and I’m still going over 50 years later.
